For those of you that don’t know I am a single mother with two girls at home. I love them to pieces but they’re also the reason I taught myself selective hearing. We have a very strict schedule that as of late, say the last six months has just become almost obsolete. I really enjoy a clean house. I really enjoy reading and MANY other things which I typically don’t have time for. I work full time and I also sell shawls, and blankets on Etsy, plants in the spring time and other things that I enjoy. When I was growing up Saturday was the clean house day. Saturday is the clean house day in my house now but we also run ALL of our errands on Saturdays as well. Saturday is a very long day. Saturday is spent doing laundry, dishes, vacuuming, grocery shopping, switching out books at the library and the list could just go on and on and on. Mind you, Saturday is spent cleaning just so we can spend Sunday sitting around making everything dirty again. This morning (Monday morning) I left the house in complete disarray. There were soda cans on the floor in the living room as well as blankets, pillows and Shadow’s treats. I looked around at it and I just thought at least it was clean Saturday night and it’ll be clean next Saturday night too. Sorry you missed it.
